Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with both day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) options available
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• May float to Medical/Surgical unit if needed
• Can be placed on call for low census with minimum 2-hour call back
• Eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: Michigan RN license, AHA BLS, and ACLS
• 2 years ICU experience required, Medical/Surgical experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• ICU unit maintains 1:2 patient ratio
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be hard-working, resilient, manage change well, and work independently
• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• During flu season, unvaccinated staff must wear masks at all times per facility policy

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive ICU unit that maintains excellent patient-to-nurse ratios and utilizes EPIC charting systems. The organization provides critical care services and may require cross-training to medical/surgical units as needed. The facility maintains strict safety protocols and emphasizes the importance of experienced, independent healthcare professionals who can adapt to changing patient census needs.
