Opportunity:
CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Work in a 3-bed unit with fast-paced environment handling trauma and stroke patients
• Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department cases
• 1:1 patient ratio with approximately 15 scans per day on average
• Weekend rotation every other weekend
• No call responsibilities
• One full day of orientation provided to learn unit flow
• Must have 3 years of experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Must be comfortable with trauma, stroke patients, and fast-paced environment
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT), and IEMA (CT)
• GE equipment experience mandatory
• Strong IV skills required and must be comfortable with Power Injectors
• Gray scrubs required
• Charting systems include EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis
• Support includes receptionist during day shift and hospitalist/physician available after hours
• Transport aid and tech aide available for assistance
• Radiologist resident on-site
• Third-party processing available
• Parking available for $47.50/month or public transportation via CTA Brown line

This major medical center serves as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Level III Perinatal Center with Magnet Designation and Comprehensive Stroke Center accreditation. The 397-bed teaching hospital provides advanced medical care and maintains high standards for patient outcomes. The facility offers comprehensive imaging services with modern equipment and specialized support staff to handle complex cases including trauma and stroke patients.
