Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities required 2-3 weekdays per week from 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend on-call every 4th weekend from Friday 4:00 PM to Monday 7:30 AM
• 30-minute response time required for on-call situations
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• 3 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• EP experience preferred
• Handle 1-16 cases per day depending on day of the week
• Perform monitoring/circulating, moderate/conscious sedation, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and patient recovery after sedation
• Work with patient types including STEMI/NSTEMI, angioplasty/angiography, ASD, PFO, right/left heart catheterization, and thrombectomy
• EP cases include pacemakers, generator changes, loop recorders, ICD lead revisions, and cardioversions
• 2-day orientation program provided
• Scrubs provided
• Free parking available
• Sleep room available for on-call shifts
• Charting systems include EPIC and Mac Lab
• May float to EP if experienced

This medical center is a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center featuring 91 beds and a comprehensive cardiac catheterization lab program. The facility operates 2 cardiac catheterization labs and 1 hybrid catheterization/EP lab, providing advanced cardiac care services. The organization is actively rebuilding and growing their cardiac catheterization lab department with strong support from leadership, cardiologists, technicians, and nursing staff. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and offers a supportive work environment for healthcare professionals.
