Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend required
• Schedule released every 4 weeks
• Holiday coverage required based on facility needs
• Time off requests must be approved through manager
• 1:1 patient ratio
• One week of day shift orientation required to learn facility flow
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, IEMA (Illinois license)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• IV start experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Work with GE and Phillips equipment
• Floating to inpatient imaging center as needed
• Mid-shift floating possible
• Perform CT scans on adults and pediatric patients including stroke, CTA, biopsies, drains, calcium scoring, cardiac, abdomen, pelvis, head, chest, extremities, and general anatomy
• Handle Level 1 trauma patients
• Scrub color requirement: Caribbean blue with no logos, camo, or denim
• Free parking provided

Facility:

This major medical center is a 749-bed Level 1 Trauma Center with Magnet designation and Comprehensive Stroke Center status. The CT imaging department features 2 outpatient CT rooms and 5 inpatient CT rooms, providing comprehensive imaging services. The facility offers 24/7 respiratory therapy and hospitalist support, along with code blue and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
