Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Weekend on-call responsibility every 4-6 weekends with no weekday on-call requirements
• Weekend on-call may include holidays and requires 30-minute response time
• Additional call schedule includes 1-2 overnight shifts per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Perform general, abdominal, vascular, small parts, refluxes, venous/arterial dopplers, and biopsies
• OB/GYN ultrasounds only for viability for ER patients (no cardiac as echo tech handles those)
• Required certifications: ARMDS (vascular and abdominal certification) and BLS
• Experience required with GE Logiq 7, GE Logiq 10, Siemens, Octavia, Parks flo-lab equipment preferred
• Work as part of team during weekdays, solo coverage on weekends and on-call
• Use EPIC charting system, Alaris and Pyxis equipment
• 1-3 shift orientation based on experience and comfort level
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Free parking provided
• Up to 7 days time off can be approved
Facility:
This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center featuring 167 beds and multiple specialized services. The facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and Level III Maternity unit, along with Primary Stroke Center designation. The ultrasound department is supported by lead ultrasound technicians and supervisors, providing a collaborative work environment with modern equipment and comprehensive patient care services.
