Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work variable start times from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM (third shift)
• Cover both CT and X-ray modalities during contract
• Must work independently in OR, CT, Fluoro, and general X-rays
• Service inpatients, ED, outpatients, and urgent care patients
• 1:1 patient ratio with CT cases broken into 30-minute blocks
• Usually 2 CT techs available, but only 1 on third shift
• Weekend rotation rarely required, based on needs
• No on-call responsibilities
• 8-week scheduling period with 1-2 weeks advance notice
• Holiday coverage for any holidays that fall during third shift rotation
• 1-3 day orientation based on comfort level
• Float to X-ray department (both skills required)
• Optional floating to Burlington location (20 minutes away)
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT in CT, Wisconsin license
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers welcome
• Strong IV skills preferred
• Knowledge of different CT examinations required
• Patient transport experience preferred
• Experience with stroke and contrast scans required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Equipment: GE Optima 360, McKesson PACS, Pyxis, I-stat
• Professional scrubs of any color required
• Free parking available

This small community hospital features 64 licensed beds and maintains a family-friendly atmosphere that welcomes traveling professionals. The facility operates one CT scanner and provides comprehensive medical services including emergency care, inpatient services, and outpatient procedures. The hospital transfers high acuity patients to larger medical centers when specialized care is needed and offers strong departmental support with 24/7 hospitalist and respiratory therapy coverage.
