Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM Monday through Thursday
• Set schedule with no weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Work holidays if they fall on scheduled days
• 2+ years of acute care CT experience required
• ARRT (CT) and Wisconsin license required
• BLS certification required
• Perform approximately 20 scans per shift
• Work with 2 CT scanners (Canon 80 slice and 40 slice) shared back-to-back with control room
• Treat outpatient, emergency department, and inpatient populations including Level II trauma scans
• Perform stroke scans, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, abdomen, extremities, spine, neck, head, and pulmonary embolism studies
• Comfortable working independently, especially after 6:30 PM when staffing reduces to 1 CT tech
• Canon and Toshiba scanner experience highly preferred
• IV starts, CT perfusions, and biopsy/special procedures experience preferred
• Work with EPIC EMR system (preferred), McKesson PACS, and Pyxis medication dispensing
• Dress code requires solid color scrubs (no graphics, logos, or designs)
• 3 days of unit orientation plus facility NEO
• No floating to other departments required

This healthcare facility is a 60-bed Level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Ready Facility that provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The imaging department features state-of-the-art CT technology with 24/7 support services and a collaborative team environment. The facility maintains high standards for patient care with strong support systems including radiology nursing, respiratory therapy, and house supervisory staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
