Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in a 2-room cardiac catheterization laboratory with 1 EP/Cath room and 1 Cath Lab
• Handle approximately 4 cases per day on average
• Provide care for cardiac catheterization diagnostics, interventional procedures, femoral and radial approaches, IFR, FFR, and balloon pumps
• Assist with electrophysiology procedures including pacemakers, AICS, loop recorders, diagnostic EP, and right sided ablations
• Participate in 24/7, 365 STEMI Program requiring excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Take approximately 50% call per month with multiple nights per week
• Weekend call coverage includes entire weekend from end of shift Friday until Monday morning
• Weekday call hours are 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Holiday call coverage required
• Float only between rooms within department and pre-op area
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Critical care experience in ED or ICU preferred
• Must be comfortable with balloon pumps and temporary pacers
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Work with EPIC EMR system, Maclab hemodynamic system, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available

The 72-bed facility offers advanced cardiac services with specialized catheterization and electrophysiology capabilities.
