Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Technologist

Job Details:

• Minimum 2+ years of acute care CT experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted unless candidate has 10+ years of CT experience
• Perform approximately 20 scans per shift
• Work with outpatient, ED, inpatient, and Level IV Trauma scan cases
• Scan types include strokes, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, abdomen, extremities, spine, neck, head, and pulmonary embolisms
• Patient population ranges from toddlers to adults; infant cases are rare
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Canon and Toshiba scanner experience highly preferred; candidates without this experience require manager approval
• IV starts, CT perfusions, and experience with biopsies/special procedures preferred
• EMR experience with EPIC preferred; PACS system is McKesson; medication dispensing via Pyxis
• Equipment includes Canon Scanners 80-slice and 40-slice
• Set schedule with weekend rotation
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage expected if shift falls on a scheduled workday
• Time off requests must be approved through management
• Scrub color: Any solid color, professional; no graphics, logos, or designs
• Free parking available on site
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT), Wisconsin License, and BLS

Facility:

This facility is a 60-bed acute care hospital operating as a Level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Ready Facility. The imaging department features 2 CT scanners shared back-to-back with a control room. The department is well-supported with imaging patient assistants, a radiology nurse, a concierge at the imaging desk, phlebotomy services, a house supervisor, respiratory therapy available 24/7, and MRI and X-ray services available around the clock. A Lead CT Technologist is on site during day shifts, fostering a fun and close-knit unit culture.
