Opportunity:
Scrub Tech - OR
Job Details:
• Variable day shifts on General Team
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• May be required to float to additional hospital locations as needed
• 6-8 nights of weeknight on-call and 1-2 weekends during the 13-week contract with a 30-minute response time requiring the traveler to be ready and in the OR within that time
• Weekend shifts for on-call only with holiday rotation
• Must have own vehicle as Uber/Lyft cannot be relied upon due to on-call responsibilities
• 4+ years of experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Trauma Level 2 experience required
• Da Vinci Robotics experience required
• Scrubbing required
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license required (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted); AHA or ARC certifications required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Knowledge of surgical standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from a surgical technologist program and four or more years of related experience in the operating room
• Required skills include General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, and strong GI
• Must be strong in multiple case types with extensive experience in a large volume hospital, preferably Trauma Level 2
• Responsible for setting up operative suites, reviewing case carts to ensure all supplies are available, scrubbing surgical cases across a variety of specialties, and turning over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Facility operates 21 ORs across all specialties with an average of 40-60 cases per day
• Must be flexible, have an excellent work ethic, be willing to assist with downtime tasks, and willing to help train new hires

This hospital is a large-volume acute care facility operating 21 operating rooms across all surgical specialties. The facility maintains a Trauma Level 2 designation and handles an average of 40-60 surgical cases per day. The organization supports a General Surgery Team and provides comprehensive surgical services including General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, and GI, utilizing advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Robotics.
