Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Technologist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Weekend rotation every 4th weekend required
• On-call required on an 8-week rotation
• Holiday coverage per unit needs
• 8-week schedule cycle
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted if well qualified
• Perform CT imaging for ED, inpatient, outpatient, stroke, chest pain, procedural, and trauma patients
• Average department volume of 50-75 patients per day
• Required certifications and credentials: BLS, RT(R)(CT), IEMA
• Proficiency with IV starts, stroke and chest pain workups, and trauma required
• Experience with GE CT scanners required
• EMR system: EPIC
• No floating to other departments
• Orientation includes NEO and 1 week of precepted shifts
• Scrub color: Caribbean blue

This facility is a 176-licensed-bed hospital with a Level II Trauma Designation and is recognized as both a Chest Pain Center and a Stroke Center. The department benefits from robust 24/7 support including hospitalist, intensivist, and trauma team coverage. The facility is equipped with modern GE CT scanners and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system, ensuring a well-supported and technologically advanced environment for clinical staff.
