Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Technologist

Job Details:

• Minimum 2+ years of acute care CT experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted unless candidate has 10+ years of CT experience
• Perform approximately 20 scans per shift
• Work with outpatient, ED, inpatient, and Level IV Trauma scan patients including toddlers through adults
• Perform scans for strokes, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, abdomen, extremities, spine, neck, head, and pulmonary embolisms
• Canon and Toshiba scanner experience highly preferred; candidates without this experience require manager approval
• IV starts, CT perfusions, and experience with biopsies/special procedures preferred
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Work with Canon Scanners (80 slice and 40 slice)
• EMR: EPIC experience preferred
• PACS: McKesson
• Med dispensing: Pyxis
• Set schedule with weekend rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holidays worked if they fall on a scheduled day
• Time off requests must be approved through manager
• Scrub color: Any solid color, professional; no graphics, logos, or designs
• Free parking available on site
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT), Wisconsin License, BLS

Facility:

This facility is a 60-bed acute care hospital operating as a Level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Ready Facility. The imaging department features 2 CT scanners shared back-to-back with a control room, supported by a collaborative team including imaging patient assistants, a concierge at the imaging desk, a radiology nurse, phlebotomy services, a house supervisor, a lead CT technologist on day shift, and respiratory therapy, MRI, and X-ray services available 24/7. The department is known for its fun and close-knit culture.
