$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - PACU
Job Details:
• Set schedule, Monday through Friday with no weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities and not permitted to pick up call or weekend shifts
• No holiday expectations
• No more than 4 days of RTO will be approved
• Minimum 2 years of Phase I/Phase II PACU experience required
• First-time travelers may be considered with extensive PACU experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and either CAPA or CPAN certification
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• IV Pump: Alaris; Medication dispensing: Pyxis
• Hard stop requirements: art lines, TR bands, chest tubes, CBI, and EPIC proficiency
• Experience recovering post-cath, bronch, and IR patients highly preferred
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage cardiac drips
• Must be comfortable providing discharge instructions and working in both Phase I and Phase II recovery
• Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, and observation patients across all ages including pediatrics and adults
• Specialties include general, plastics, urology, GI, bariatrics, GYN, minor vascular, neurosurgery, robotics, ophthalmology, ortho, cardiothoracic, ENT, endovascular, fistulas, bronchs, post-cath, and post-IR/Neuro IR
• Patient ratios: Pre-op 1:3, Phase I 1:2, Phase II 1:3
• Will float regularly between Phase I and Phase II recovery areas across Main and East PACU locations
• Scrub color: Any solid color, professional with no logos, graphics, or designs

Facility:
This medical center is a 167-bed facility operating as a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Level III Maternity Center, and Primary Stroke Center. The facility features two PACU locations within the same building, with a Main PACU on the second floor featuring 33 pre/post rooms and 10 Phase I PACU bays, and an East PACU on the first floor featuring 33 pre/post rooms and 17 Phase I PACU bays. The department sees a combined average of 60 to 80 patients per day and is supported by charge RNs, management, CNA/LPN staff, 24/7 hospitalists, 24/7 respiratory therapy, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and on-site surgeons.
