$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

Opportunity:

LPN - Correctional Facility Nurse

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• 26-week assignment
• Administer medications adhering to medication rights for patient safety
• Complete medication refills per Provider orders and established procedures
• Provide direct care to patients in accordance with established individual plans of care
• Complete point of care sample collection including phlebotomy
• Administer vaccines and other IM/SubQ medications
• Provide routine treatments including wound care, enema administration, topical medication application, colostomy care, and surgical preparation procedures
• Report all observations and treatment outcomes to the Registered Nurse and/or Advanced Care Providers
• Perform emergency response and appropriate interventions for patients experiencing physiological distress in alignment with BLS standards and per scope of practice
• Accurately and completely document all patient care and encounters within an electronic healthcare record

This correctional facility provides comprehensive healthcare services to the incarcerated population, ensuring patients receive appropriate medical attention in a secure environment. The facility maintains a structured healthcare department focused on delivering quality patient care, including routine treatments, medication management, and emergency response services. Staff work within a collaborative team environment that includes Registered Nurses and Advanced Care Providers to ensure the health and safety of all patients.
