Opportunity:
RN - Dialysis
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Weekend rotation based on unit needs
• Overnight on-call once a week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - will not be scheduled to work the same day coming off call
• 1 holiday requirement per contract
• RTO available with manager approval
• Full schedule will be provided during orientation
• Expect to see 2 patients per shift with 1:1 patient ratios
• Treat acute and inpatient hemodialysis patients including those with ESRD and acute kidney injury
• Perform bedside treatments and operate portable RO and hemodialysis machines
• Access hemodialysis catheters, fistulas, and grafts
• Float throughout the north region inpatient hospitals to dialyze patients - mid-shift floating to different locations each day is possible
• Assignment email provided the day before each shift indicating location
• Work with EMR system EPIC and medication dispensing system Pyxis
• Preferred experience with BBraun and Milimum HX hemodialysis equipment
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient or outpatient hemodialysis experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• State licensure required
• Must be able to work independently while also being a strong team player
• 1-2 weeks of orientation provided based on comfort level, including machine training, online modules, EPIC training if needed, and 2 days of tandem work alongside another RN before treating patients independently
• Scrub color: Any solid color, professional appearance required

The dialysis program supports patients with acute kidney injury and end-stage renal disease across several facilities, with travelers receiving constant support from management via text and on-site staff.
