Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Technologist

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Saturday and Sunday shifts run from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday shifts run from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Must be available to work 7 days a week and will be plugged into the schedule based on greatest needs
• 6-week schedule provided with 4 weeks advance notice
• Call rotation every 8th weekend with a 30-minute response time
• Must be willing to work 1 holiday
• Position interchanges between X-ray and CT - candidate MUST have both skills
• Must work independently at night without additional support
• Average of 45 scans per day
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• CT scope includes strokes, traumas, abdominal, CTA, angiography, contrast/non-contrast, and vascular cases
• X-ray scope includes fluoroscopy, OR, and all body parts including chest, abdominal, hand, joint, and extremities
• Patient types include inpatient and ED only - no outpatient cases on night shift
• Minimum 3 years of experience required; first-time travelers must have 3+ years in an acute care setting
• CT skills required: power injection, GE or Toshiba experience, CTA experience, trauma/stroke experience; IV skills preferred
• X-ray skills required: general X-ray, fluoroscopy, Fuji or Cannon experience
• Must be proficient in EPIC (required), McKesson PACS, GE and Toshiba CT Scan, and Fuji and Cannon X-ray equipment
• May float between X-ray and CT based on facility needs
• 4-day orientation provided: Day 1 with supervisor, Days 2-4 training with X-ray and CT techs
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, Wisconsin license
• Scrub color: any color acceptable; no camouflage, denim, or hoodies
• Free parking available in designated areas

Facility:

This 123-bed facility serves as a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center, providing comprehensive emergency and acute care services to the surrounding community. The facility operates 2 CT rooms, 1 X-ray room, and 2 portable machines, supported by an experienced imaging team including a Supervisor of Imaging and a Director of Imaging and Cardiovascular Service Line. The organization is committed to delivering high-quality patient care across inpatient and emergency department settings.
