Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, provides high-quality patient care by following established nursing care plans. • Required Qualifications: BLS Certification required prior to first shift, ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only), minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience, ICU experience preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission; collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans; maintains accurate documentation; participates in patient education and discharge planning; ensures safety protocols are followed; delegates tasks appropriately; and contributes to a positive work environment through team participation.
