Description

Job Summary:
The Phoenix, Arizona, Labor and Delivery Department is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Phoenix, AZ
  • Shift Schedule: Nights (12-hour shifts), minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or an interim/temporary license, or compact licensure; BLS certification. Experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least one year, including within the past 12 months in a relevant specialty area.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Additional certifications or continuing education based on area of practice may be required.
  • Additional Information: Employees working at specific facilities must possess and maintain the appropriate Fingerprint Clearance Card as specified.
  • Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, formulating individualized care plans, providing direct patient care, coordinating with the healthcare team, evaluating responses to care, documenting thoroughly, and ensuring evidence-based practices are followed.
