Job Summary
A Medical Surgical (MS) with Telemetry Registered Nurse position is available in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves providing patient care in a float pool setting across multiple departments and facilities, with an emphasis on telemetry experience. Candidates are required to bring their Arizona nursing license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of patient care responsibilities.

Job Details

  • Location: Tucson, Arizona
  • Specialty: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE)
  • Required Qualifications: Arizona license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, 2+ years of relevant experience, and must have telemetry experience.
  • Schedule: Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3/12 shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Number of Positions: 1
  • Additional Information:
    • This is a float pool position requiring flexibility to work across four facilities and various units including Medical Surgical, Neuro, Orthopedic, and possibly Progressive Care Units (PCU).
    • Units include Med/Surg, Neuro, Orthopedic, Telemetry, and occasionally the Emergency Department holding area.
    • Floats are typically assigned to one unit per shift with rare occasions of crossing to sister facilities based on census needs.
    • Typical patient ratios are 1:6 in medical surgical units and 1:4-5 in the emergency department holding area.
    • Candidates must be willing to float between departments and facilities as needed.
