Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN) Denver, Colorado. This seasonal travel opportunity involves providing specialized care in a high-volume Labor and Delivery department. The role requires ability to independently handle obstetric cases, perform deliveries, and support the units clinical operations during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum 1 year current acute care hospital labor and delivery experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or AWHONN certification, and valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Meditech Electronic Medical Record experience, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, operating room experience
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include managing vaginal and cesarean deliveries, additional high-risk obstetrics procedures such as hysterectomy, tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions. Candidates should demonstrate a self-starter attitude, capable of supporting team members and working independently.
