Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Denver, Colorado. This seasonal travel role involves providing specialized care in a high-volume obstetrics unit, supporting complex deliveries, including high-risk pregnancies, using advanced equipment and protocols. The role requires an adaptable and self-starting professional committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license, minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN certification
  • Preferred Qualifications: Meditech experience, PACU experience, Operating Room (OR) experience
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: Candidates will perform procedures related to vaginal and cesarean deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions. The unit has 29 beds, 4 operating rooms, 3 Post-Anesthesia Care Units (PACU) bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms, staffed by 148 team members. The patient-to-staff ratio is approximately 2:1, utilizing Centricity and GE monitors with Meditech / CPN electronic medical records.
