Job Summary:
Registered Nurse Emergency Room Pediatric (ER PEDS) in Reno, Nevada. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in the pediatric emergency department, utilizing clinical expertise to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Candidates are required to bring their Nevada RN license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Reno, Nevada
- Specialty: Emergency Room Pediatric (ER PEDS)
- Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours per week, minimum of 36 hours
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
- Start Date: June 29, 2026
- Experience Required: Two years of experience in a Pediatric Emergency Room
- Required Qualifications: Nevada RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); candidates should have recent experience in a Pediatric ER and possess excellent documentation skills along with quality, compassionate patient and family interaction. Comfort with pediatric resuscitation and care of critically ill children is necessary.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. An additional shift may be required during the schedule period. The organization reserves the right to call off shifts without penalty with 48 hours notice per 13-week contract. The schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
