Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) nurse position in Burlington, Vermont. This assignment is intended for a CVOR registered nurse with recent and high competency experience in Cardio Vascular and Open Heart operating room procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of shift. The position involves working a flexible schedule, including alternating 12-hour shifts, with call duties scheduled every 5 weeks, and a work week from Monday to Sunday.

- Location: Burlington, Vermont

- Required Qualifications: Current BLS certification, CNOR certification preferred; at least 2 years of OR RN experience, recent experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) from the past 2 years; large, academic, teaching hospital experience preferred; minimum of 2 years general operating room experience with recent proficiency and high competency in Cardio Vascular / Open Heart procedures; prior travel experience; must be flexible to float to other OR suites, circulating only; valid nurse license to be presented on first day
- Additional Information: Assignment duration of 13-16 weeks; travel rate at $120, radius rate at $115 for 51-100 miles, local rate at $110 for 50 miles or less; working hours are 3-12 days shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with call coverage during weekdays and weekends every 5 weeks; candidates should ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained and complete work history details are submitted; reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
