Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry located in Portland, Maine. This position involves providing patient care on a med-surg and telemetry unit focused on nephrology and urology. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS certification, current licensure as a Registered Nurse, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week, with a guaranteed 48 hours per week.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This role involves replacement of permanent staff, with duties including managing med-surg and telemetry patients, focusing on nephrology and urology. The unit has 38 beds, and patient ratios are approximately 1:6. The environment requires a team-oriented, flexible, and adaptable personality. Dress code is scrubs of any color, with unacceptable attire including hoodies, logos or graphics, and open-toe shoes.
