RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Provide medical surgical and post-surgical coverage on orthopedic unit
• Must be willing and able to work charge nurse responsibilities
• Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay
• Involve patients and caregivers in care plan development and updates
• Administer IV medications, IV therapy, blood and blood components according to clinical standards
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process
• Monitor and provide care for patients in restraint or seclusion when necessary
• Must demonstrate competency in restraint application and seclusion implementation
• BLS certification required
• 1 year previous nursing experience preferred
• Must reside outside of a 50 mile radius from facility
• Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation
• Cannot be a previous employee of this healthcare organization
• Clean license and background check required - no hits or actions will be considered
