Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN) for an inpatient dialysis unit position located in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing advanced hemodialysis treatments to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients within a Level 1 trauma center or similar hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position offers day and evening 12-hour shifts, and requires passing strict telemetric testing prior to start.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day and Evening 12-hour shifts, 0800 - 2030, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Wisconsin RN or compact RN license, at least two years of inpatient Hemodialysis experience in a Level 1 trauma or comparable hospital, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Experience with adults and pediatrics is necessary, as well as proficiency with Epic electronic medical records.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, community hospital experience, LTAC experience, trauma level I or II experience, travel experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN must pass a telemetric exam with strict criteria prior to assignment. Vaccinations required include the flu shot; no COVID-19 vaccine is required. The role entails working every other weekend and holidays if needed, with a focus on critical dialysis procedures and patient management.
