Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) care is needed in Utica, New York. The position involves working in a unit that handles stroke, altered mental status, renal, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general medical-surgical conditions, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues. Candidates are required to bring their active license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

Location: Utica, New York
Shift: 6:30 pm to 7:00 am (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Float: Float rotation may be required
Required Qualifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license; at least 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical nursing with stroke stepdown experience; valid drivers license with address matching demographics; EMR experience with EPIC; travel experience required; NURSYS report for license verification; shift hours; and submission of an up-to-date resume including travel experience.
Additional Information: Unit utilizes IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes. The patient demographic is adults. The unit has a total of 64 beds. Updated resume must include 2+ years of relevant experience and documents travel experience; RTO must be included at time of submission.
