Job Summary:
Critical Care Nurse (Intensive Care Unit/ICU) in Aberdeen, Washington. This position involves providing direct, individualized nursing care to critically ill patients in a hospital setting, utilizing scientific nursing principles. Candidates are required to bring their licensed professional license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

  • Location: Aberdeen, Washington
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, a valid professional license within the state of practice or nurse licensure compact, with verification of suicide training and demographic data via Nursys e-Notify, zero or more years of experience in critical care in a hospital setting.
  • Additional Information:
    • The role involves consulting and coordinating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
    • Responsibilities include preparing and administering medications, monitoring patient vital signs, interpreting diagnostic tests, and responding to life-threatening situations using established nursing standards and protocols.
    • Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, and IV systems, ensuring proper placement and operation.
    • Provides patient education on post-treatment care, medications, and health management.
    • Provides basic bedside care and records medical information accurately and promptly.
    • Implements Hemodynamic, Phlebotomy and IV protocols.
    • Responds effectively in emergency situations to prevent loss of life.
