Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Kennewick, Washington. This position involves providing specialized patient care within a medical intensive care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Kennewick, Washington
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Schedule: Nights shift from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 1 year of experience in an ICU setting; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system Paragon
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Medical ICU, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Unit handles patients with sepsis, respiratory issues, some cardiac and trauma cases. The unit has 14 beds, patient ratios of 1:2, and occasionally uses IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump). The candidate should enjoy team work and holding each other accountable to best practices.
