Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse position on a Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor located in Crescent City, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in an acute rehabilitation setting, with the ability to float to the Medical Care Unit (MCU) and Telemetry department. Candidates must bring their valid California nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Crescent City, California
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license; at least one year of experience in an acute healthcare setting and in an acute rehabilitation care setting preferred; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred. Additional skills include acute inpatient rehabilitation, administration of blood and blood products, anticoagulation therapy, antiseizure medication management, assistive devices, blood glucose monitoring, care of ports, diabetic teaching, diuretics, fall risk assessment, feeding devices and tubes, Foley catheter removal, incentive spirometry, infection prevention, PPE, lift/transfer devices, mobilization techniques, safety goals, suctioning, pain management, patient teaching, PEG tube care, pressure ulcer prevention, pulse oximetry, restraints, specialty beds, IV management, oxygen delivery, sutures/staples removal, swallowing precautions, wound care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting system experience.
• Additional Information: Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing. The facility requires staffing with at least two years of relevant experience for submission. Candidates must provide a valid state license, all certifications AHA approved and in hand at time of submittal, and accurate 7-year work history.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
