Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) registered nurse (RN) position is located in Portland, Maine. The facility requires a seasoned and current OR RN travel nurse to provide patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. This role involves working rotating shifts starting from 07/27/2026, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, starting from 07/27/2026, with 36 hours guaranteed weekly; occasional weekends or call required.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification; preferred certifications include PALS (not mandatory), and familiarity with EPIC EMR system. Experience in ENT, dental, plastics, pediatric, trauma level 1 units, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment are required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in teaching hospitals, trauma level 1, and proficiency with EPIC EMR.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position is a contractor replacement for one open role. No recent time off requested; no restrictions expected for accepting this assignment.
