Description

Job Summary:
The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) department at a healthcare facility located in Nashville, Tennessee. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing specialized obstetric care within the LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

  • Required Qualifications: Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the AHA, National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), STABLE, American Womens Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Advanced Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification (or MAB).
  • Additional Information:
    • The facility can cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract
    • Floating within the candidates scope of practice may be required
    • Charge or preceptor duties may be required and will be reflected on the healthcare professionals timesheet
    • Compliance clearance is required 10 days prior to orientation
    • Orientation dates are set for RN specialties including Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Forensics (Medical Surgical-Telemetry), Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Postpartum, and Labor & Delivery
    • More than three call outs during the contracted period may result in termination of the assignment
