Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) nursing specialty position is located in Savannah, Georgia. This role involves working in a state-of-the-art pediatric hospital with a team dedicated to providing specialized surgical care. Candidates are required to bring their nursing or surgical tech license on the first day of assignment. The position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and a skilled team in a modern facility that has been operational for less than two years.
Job Details:
- Position: Operating Room (OR)
- Location: Savannah, Georgia
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, with shifts starting at 6:45 AM and ending at either 3:15 PM or 5:15 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); active RN (Registered Nurse) or Certified Surgical Technician (CST) license; experience with general trauma, pediatrics, orthopedics, ENT, and neuro procedures; familiarity with Epic electronic documentation system; minimum 0 years of experience; candidates must hold a valid license in their state of practice.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience and ability to circulate or scrub during procedures are highly desirable.
- Additional Information: The unit features new equipment and technology, with a team known for expertise in pediatric surgical care.
