Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology (MS ONC) is sought for a position located in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves working on an Oncology and Womens Surgical unit providing high-quality patient care. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position is a contract replacement role with a start date of 07/13/2026.

Job Details:

  • Location: Asheville, North Carolina
  • Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
  • Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts (Day Shift/Night Shift)
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), ability to work both day and night shifts, willing to work for a contractor, and no specific minimum years of experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Chemo Certification, experience with procedures such as pelvic exams, echo, thoracentesis, team-oriented personality, and willingness to learn.
  • Floats: Team rarely floats to other medical-surgical units.
  • Additional Information:
    • Staffing includes 1 Certified Nurse (CNC), 4-6 Registered Nurses (RNs), 2 Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and 1 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) during each shift.
    • Patient ratios are approximately 1:4 or 1:5.
    • Standard unit equipment is utilized.
    • Dress code for RNs is navy, white, or a combination; for CNAs, Galaxy Blue.
    • Staff are expected to work six weekend days per schedule and may be called occasionally.
    • The role is a contractor replacement position.
