Description

Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Endoscopy Lab San Francisco, California. The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to support endoscopy services, including pre-/post-procedure care and inpatient experience. Candidates must be able to float to other sites as needed and should bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Schedule: Days, 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week minimum
Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for all RN positions; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Minimum 2 years of experience with more than 1 year of outpatient endoscopy center experience; Epic charting experience; Ability to float to other sites
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma I/II experience; Trauma Level II experience; Previous charge experience; Trauma Level I experience
Certifications/Skills (role requirements): Administering conscious sedation; airway management; monitoring conscious sedation; obtain 12-lead electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG); opioid analgesics; pre/post procedure care; propofol; reversal agents; recovery for conscious sedation; recovery for monitored anesthesia care sedation; starting and maintaining IVs; specimen handling/labeling; ability to scrub and circulate; experience with endoscopy-related procedures and equipment including colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), electrosurgical units, dilators, balloon dilators, polyp snares, foreign body equipment, sclerotherapy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
Additional Information: Float rotation to other endoscopy locations may be required; COVID-19 vaccination with booster is required with medical or religious exemptions only
