Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU) Registered Nurse Wichita, Kansas. This travel role provides bedside PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) nursing support in an Intensivist Critical Care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week (7P7A).
- Required Qualifications: Registered nurse licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Minimum 1-year current acute care PICC Registered Nurse experience; PICC line certification; Pediatric experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience; Ultrasound experience.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include PICC insertion and care, including Powerglide, middle line, and vein insertion, with ultrasound support as preferred. The environment includes a 1:1 patient ratio and an electronic medical record workflow using Meditech/CPN.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
