Description
Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Room (ER) Tulare, CA
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care to patients using established standards of care and the nursing process. The role includes supervising and directing assigned nursing staff activities and coordinating care with other disciplines through critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) (preferred); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (required); Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (required); American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC-BLS) (required); American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA-ACLS) or American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC-ALS) (required); American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA-PALS) or American Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support (ARC-PALS) (required); American Heart Association Neonatal Resuscitation Program (AHA-NRP) or American Red Cross Neonatal Resuscitation course (ARC-NALS) (required)
- Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
- Develops and implements a plan of care, coordinates care delivery, and uses strategies to promote health and a safe environment
- Evaluates progress toward outcomes and identifies outcomes for the patient or the patients situation
- Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare team to provide care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment
- Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members and delivers health information to patients, families, and the treatment team
- Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
