Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Nurse (RN) is sought for a 13-week assignment at a healthcare facility located in Saint Augustine, Florida. This role involves working on the Med Surg 7th Floor unit, with a focus on float responsibilities among various Med Surg units. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment. The position offers a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical Float Registered Nurse
  • Recent experience (within the last 12 months) at a Level 1 trauma facility in a major metropolitan area or an academic medical institution
  • Travel experience required
  • EPIC electronic medical record experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Florida or compact license required to be on file at time of submission
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Additional Information:
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1
  • Dress code: Navy scrubs, closed-toe shoes, well-groomed hair/beard, jewelry not applicable
  • Unit manager interviews are required
  • Florida AHCA processing may take up to 14 business days from receipt
  • No RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks; maximum of 8 days RTO for entire assignment
