Description

Job Summary:
This is a travel Registered Nurse (RN) position specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Oncology located in Denver, Colorado. The role involves providing infusion care for patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cellular therapies in a high-acuity environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

Location: Denver, Colorado
Address: 1719 19th Ave, Denver, CO 80218
Unit information: Infusion 3B, with 55 beds and 176 chairs, staffed by 86 core team members
Shift schedule: 0700-1730 (4, 10-hour shifts) or 0700-1900 (3, 12-hour shifts)
Requirements/Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Certification; minimum one year of current acute care hospital BMT Oncology RN experience; proficient in IV placement; experienced in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cellular therapy administration; familiar with blood products, antibiotics, IVIG, and IV fluids; experienced with immunocompromised patients; EMR experience with Meditech and OncoEMR.
Additional Information: Candidates may be required to work weekends and/or holidays depending on staffing needs.
