Description

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role involves providing direct patient care in a maternity unit that handles labor, antepartum, and postpartum patients. The position requires working days in a fast-paced environment with a focus on maternal and infant health.

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS (Basic Life Support); C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring); NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); 2+ years of labor and delivery nursing experience at a hospital that delivers 350-400 patients monthly
Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Unit Information:
- Number of beds: 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, 4 postpartum beds
- Patient ratios: 1:1 or 2:1, estimates only
- Equipment: External fetal monitoring devices
- EMR: EPIC
Hiring Profile: Must have at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience
Personality Fit: Adaptable, compassionate, team-oriented
Dress Code: Scrubs, black scrubs preferred
Unacceptable Attire: Any attire that does not adhere to uniform standards
Additional Comments: Located in Oklahoma City, close to various entertainment and outdoor activities, with a vibrant cultural scene
