Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Oklahoma City. This role involves providing specialized care for patients in the labor and birth unit within a healthcare facility. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with a focus on supporting expectant mothers through labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12 shifts, 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); minimum of 2 years of labor experience at a hospital that delivers 350-400 births monthly; location requirements apply based on facility needs
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Float: Float rotation may be required to postpartum unit
• Additional Information: Candidate must have at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience in a hospital setting. The unit includes 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/postpartum beds. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:1 or 2:1. External fetal monitoring equipment is used. The position is open due to vacancy.
