Description
Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery Nurse position is available in Tennessee. This role involves working in a 14-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:1-2, and candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The focus is on providing specialized obstetric nursing care, with scheduled night shifts. Candidates must have prior experience, including circulating skills, and be familiar with the specific electronic medical record systems used at the facility.

- Shift Hours: 12 hours (Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
- Required Qualifications: Valid Tennessee or multistate registered nurse license; minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery; prior travel nursing experience; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Fetal Monitoring, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating in labor and delivery; familiarity with Cerner or GE Centricity electronic medical record systems
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Scrubs are surgical scrubs provided by the facility; weekend shifts are required; schedule is made by the unit; interviews will be conducted by the organizations representatives, with offers made following the interview process; ratios are 1:1-2 for patients; expected person is the candidate.
