Description
Job Summary:
This position is for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float Nurse located in Birmingham, Alabama. The role involves floating between different ICU units, including Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Surgical ICU (SICU), Cardiac ICU (CICU), and Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), as well as covering stepdown units on designated floors. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:

- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float
- Schedule: Nights (PM shift), 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty; travel experience; Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) experience if starting before 07/25; active compact or Alabama license; experience in ICU settings; flexibility to float across multiple ICU units and stepdown units.

- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates are unable to have any restricted time off (RTO) requests between 07/19 and 08/08. Start dates cannot be scheduled during the week of 07/19 07/25.
