Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse-Circulator in the Operating Room specialty at the Belfast, Maine location. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing perioperative patient care, assisting during surgical procedures, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, starting at 6:45 AM and ending at 4:15 PM, with a guarantee of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license; Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Education as directed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Scrub experience is preferred but not required.
• Additional Information:
  • On-call hours begin Friday at 4:15 PM and end Monday morning at 6:45 AM.
  • Rotating holiday call and weekends are required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing is preferred.
  • The unit encompasses 3 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms, with patient ratios of 1:1.
  • Equipment includes Stryker, Storz, Steris, among others. The Electronic Patient Information Charting and Electronic Medical Record (EPIC EMR) system is utilized.
