Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Tallahassee, Florida. This role involves working in a trauma level 2 teaching facility that is a designated comprehensive stroke center and chest pain center. The position requires candidates to have experience in various surgical specialties, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, general, gynecology, vascular, urology, and robotics, with heavy trauma and robotic experience being nonnegotiable. The candidate must bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Tallahassee, FL

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, days shift
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification, Florida or compact license, ACLS certification preferred, minimum of 3 years of OR experience, at least 2 travel assignments, experience in orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, general, GYN, vascular, urology, robotics, and open heart surgery is preferred
• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to float within their scope of practice to various specialty pods, with no scrub duties required. Epic training will be provided during orientation, and testing out of the training is available. Candidates must have experience in trauma, neuro, or robotic surgery.
• Note: Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
• Schedule Requests: Candidates are available from 08/20 to 08/23, 09/18 to 09/21, and 10/15 to 10/18.
