Description
Job Summary:
A nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position involves working in a high-acuity environment providing critical care to patients with diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, respiratory failure, kidney failure, post-operative status, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetic ketoacidosis, and sepsis.

- Required Qualifications: CertificationsAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA); Educationvalid Medical Assistant (MA) license; LocationMassachusetts license; Experienceminimum 0 years; Must have prior travel and Epic experience.
- Schedule: 12H days, every other weekend required; possible additional day shift coverage with advance notice.
- Additional Information: Must have at least 2+ years of ICU experience; must be separated from the healthcare provider for 6+ months and be in good standing to be considered; patient ratio 1:2. Responsibilities include floating to telemetry, medical-surgical, and emergency department holding.
