Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in intensive care is needed at a healthcare facility located in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The position involves delivering high-quality patient care within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, with a potential to float to Medical/Surgical Telemetry units when operational needs or census require. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day. This role is suitable for individuals with a background in critical care and proficiency in advanced monitoring and patient assessment techniques.

Job Details:

• Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license; graduate of a School of Nursing; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; prior critical care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN); Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR); completion of a De-escalation Certification Course; proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, and intracranial pressure monitoring.
• Additional Information: Candidates will be expected to properly utilize the nursing process, maintain accurate patient documentation, participate in quality indicator assessments, and demonstrate proficiency with computerized nursing information systems. The role includes responsibilities as a charge nurse and resource person for staff training and patient care. Flexibility to float to Medical/Surgical Telemetry units is anticipated based on operational needs and census fluctuations.
