Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Rockford, Illinois. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The ER RN will utilize clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Night shift scheduling includes a weekend and holiday rotation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois Registered Nurse (IL RN) license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or associates degree in nursing from an accredited program, active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications, and either Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Triage Nursing Specialist (TNS) certification. At least 3 years of emergency room nursing experience. Education verification is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records systems, familiarity with departmental policies, and patient-focused care approach.
• Additional Information: The ER RN will participate in department performance improvement activities, support department operations, and utilize critical thinking for patient safety. The role entails documentation according to standards of care, medication administration, patient assessments, and collaborative care planning.
