Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Tallahassee, Florida. This position involves caring for patients in a trauma level 2 teaching facility that is a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center. Candidates are expected to bring their license on the first day. The role requires strong circulating skills across various specialties, with a focus on heavy robotic and trauma experience.

Job Details

• Location: Tallahassee, Florida
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and Florida, or compact, license; ACLS certification preferred; minimum of 3 years of OR nursing experience; at least 2 travel assignments; experience in OR specialties including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Trauma, General Surgery, Gynecology, Vascular, Urology, and Robotics (Open Heart preferred); strong ability to float to various specialty pods; heavy robotic and trauma experience is nonnegotiable.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS and CNOR certifications; experience with EPIC electronic medical records during orientation.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes EPIC training, with testing opportunities for certification, or full training if necessary. Candidates must be comfortable circulating in multiple specialty areas and have a willingness to float as needed.
