Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical Floor in Tallahassee, Florida. This position involves working on a 6A Orthopedics/Trauma Unit within a med surg division. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role requires floating across units within the med surg division, with weekend and holiday shifts expected. Prior travel experience and a minimum of two years of specialty experience are necessary.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Florida license (or compact license), BLS certification, at least 2 years of specialty experience, prior travel experience with at least 1 travel assignment, phlebotomy experience, EPIC training during TMH orientation (testing available), and the ability to work weekends and holidays
- Float: Float rotation may be required; travelers are first to float and will float to all units within the med surg division
- Additional Information: Nurse Patient Ratio by shift: 1:5-6
