Description
Job Summary:
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position is located in a tertiary care regional hospital that offers specialized services, including Level 1 Trauma Center and high-risk obstetrical care. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment requiring clinical excellence and adherence to hospital protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, diploma or higher in nursing, successful completion of screening requirements, local candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility, no minimum years of experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience within a Progressive Care Unit is desirable but not mandatory
- Additional Information: All candidates must undergo complete and clear screenings prior to start. Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. Candidates must submit fingerprints and background clearances as part of the onboarding process, including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting, and PA State Police Clearance.
